  6. Root canal dressing

  2. Dose and Contact Time Management: Prudent dose and contact time management is advised to maximize therapeutic benefits while minimizing potential concerns about toxic effects.
  3. Haemostasis Precondition: Kovident Formocresol should be applied to the pulpotomy site only after achieving haemostasis, ensuring a controlled and effective application.
  4. Excess Material Management: Any excess material should be carefully blotted off the pledget before application to guarantee precise and targeted treatment.
  5. Buckley’s Solution Variant: Kovident Formocresol includes a variant, akin to Buckley’s solution, with a 20% formocresol concentration, diluted with glycerine and distilled water, providing additional options for tailored treatment.

Packaging:  15ml

Directions to use ;

Formocresol is applied to the pulpotomy site on a cotton wool pledget. Any excess material should be blotted off the pledget prior to application.
Traditionally, a 5-min application time has been recommended; however, contact times of only a few seconds are probably equally effective.
It is prudent to limit both dose and contact time. Formocresol should only be applied to the pulpotomy site after haemostasis has been obtained.
It should never be applied to bleeding tissue.

Elevate your dental practice with Kovident Formocresol, where a century of excellence meets modern precision in pulp devitalization and root canal therapy.
