The Heidbrink root tip picks are designed for delicate root teasing procedures. They are also available in a “heavy” pattern for more substantial root tip removal procedures. Used to remove root tips or fragments that may break away from the tooth during the extraction procedure and are in difficult-to-reach areas root picks are used to retrieve loose root fragments after extraction.Used as a lever during the extraction of a tooth or retained roots. It is pushed in between the gums and the tooth exterior and used to loosen the tissue surrounding the tooth.
