Ammdent P C SEAL (Poly Carboxylate Cement) is used for crown cementation and lining. It forms a chemical bond with the tooth structure due to an acid- base reaction.

DIRECTION TO USE
Preparation:
- Ensure proper ventilation and gather necessary equipment.
- Clean enamel, dentin, and metal surfaces meticulously to remove debris and plaque.
- Dry the cavity gently with oil-free air or cotton pellets until the surface appears matt shiny, avoiding excessive desiccation.
Pulp Protection:
- Apply a hard-curing calcium hydroxide preparation to areas near the pulp to prevent irritation during restoration.
Dosing & Mixing:
- Assemble the dosing rod and tap off excess powder.
- Dispense liquid carefully, ensuring proper ratio adherence.
- Mix powder and liquid on a mixing block or glass plate until achieving a homogeneous consistency.
Application:
- Keep the work area dry and free from saliva contamination.
- Lubricate neighboring teeth or crowns with vaseline.
- Apply a thin, even layer of cement to the inside of the restoration and prepared tooth, avoiding overfilling.
- Insert the restoration promptly and accurately
- Excess Material Removal:
- Clean excess material shortly before definitive setting using a suitable instrument, taking care not to disturb the seam.
- After the setting time, remove any remaining excess material cautiously, e.g., with a probe.
Post-Application:
- Monitor the patient for any signs of allergic reactions or complications.
- Store unused product below 25°C/77°F and avoid use beyond the expiration date.
Cleanup:
- Wash off any cement adhering to instruments with cold water before it sets.
